[WATA] FSIA Deepavali 2014

‘Deepavali Mela’ is being successfully organized by ‘The Forum of South Indian Associations (FSIA)’ consisting of four associations – TAWA (Tamil), MAWA (Malayalee), WAKS (Kannada) and WATA (Telugu). WATA led the inaugural function successfully in 2011 followed by TAWA and MAWA. During the previous years about 4,000 to 6,000 people attended and enjoyed the afternoon with the variety of cultural programs, food and entertainment.

This year the Deepavali Mela is being conducted on Sunday , 19th October 2014 from 11am – 3pm at Murdoch University Bush Court with WAKS (Kannada association as the lead association).

WATA will be performing 2 cultural programs with each performance not exceeding 6 minutes.

WATA requests interested participants in taking part in these cultural events to register their expression of interest with WATA Deepavali Mela Cultural Sub Committee as below by 6th September 2014.

Guidelines for participants:-
1. Group performance (min 4 Persons)
2. Majority participants should be Telugu speaking.
3. Time limit 6 mins (Max)
